It’s buggy
This app often loses track of which sessions I have completed. It jumps ahead several weeks and won’t let me access previous sessions until I have listened to a later one. After 3.5 weeks, no discernible improvement in my symptoms.

This is a wonderful concept, but deeply flawed in its execution. The repetitive terminology around symptom management (i.e. “your digestive symptoms)—particularly in the actual hypnotherapy sessions— reaffirms to the brain that one has these symptoms. Drawing from findings in neurolinguistic research, this likely limits efficacy. I wish the language were adapted to more neutral and positive terms, such as “increasing digestive health and comfort” rather than focused on presence of symptoms. As a somatic psychotherapist in training, I am very disappointed and will not be using this app after all.
This certainly won’t hurt anything, but I didn’t notice much, if any, improvement in my symptoms. On a positive note the woman’s voice is soothing, and I did feel more relaxed after each session. However it didn’t help with my GI issues.
I’d love for this program to work & to get as much as possible from it but the app is so fussy, that it’s stressing me. At a point of total annoyance with it. Had to LITERALLY change phone settings to even gain access to the program.
Really? $90 per 3 month app subscription which is ultimately a computer program for people who are desperate for help. Yes I get it is researched but it is not individually tailored. I’m a psychologist and I think it’s bordering on the unethical!!…
Really? $90 per 3 month app subscription which is ultimately a computer program for people who are desperate for help. Yes I get it is researched but it is not individually tailored. I’m a psychologist and I think it’s bordering on the unethical!! In fact it is unethical to promise results when the program is not covered by the health regulatory board and there is no individual assessment undertaken and program developed by a clinician. It is also unethical to insist via email that consumers are not serious about their health unless they do the program. In Australia this sort of advertising is considered illegal in the provision of health services …..but the developer gets to fly under the regulator’s radar by being an app as opposed to being provided by a health practitioner. Be warned!!

One better be well versed in psycho babble to use this app. It rushes you through the same meditations in an annoying voice and almost assumes you have a background in meditation. The meditations go fast, I never feel anything but annoyed and the only helpful tool I’ve gotten has been learning to belly breathe. This is an especially difficult app to use if you have chronic pain &/or anxiety.
I enjoyed many of the sessions as I found them relaxing. Some were better than others. But there has been absolutely no change in my IBS symptoms. I think if someone has symptoms related to anxiety this may be more beneficial.
I don’t get my reading for the day till the next day. The support service has no idea why. I also keep falling asleep while listening to the sessions. I even tried sitting up and listening during the day.
I’m on day 3, and I’m afraid I cannot connect with the sensation I’m supposed to have when I do the hypnotherapy. As it’s obviously key, the process is becoming frustrating I’m not getting the most out of the app.

Well designed app and good concept. It did not actually help sibo at all and somehow I ended up on the recurring plan by accident. It was similar to another subscription so I didn’t notice until more than six months passed, and they would not refund anything prior to 30 days before. I never saw the emails telling me about the charges until I searched my email for Nerva so I recommend you do that to avoid being charged. Overall a good program, and I believe it works for some people. I don’t know if it’s possible for them to track app usage but since I wasn’t using the app for most of that six months, I don’t think it is fair that I was charged. So proceed with caution just like any subscription model.

Having had considerable benefit from a FODMAPS diet, I was hoping to get further improvements with hypnotherapy. Although the written material and tips were good, I could not relate to the hypnotherapy sessions. They were repetitive and the confused imagery suggested by the therapist was irritating. I would have preferred a range of voices and a greater variety of hypnotherapy sessions.
I am finding the hypnotherapy very repetitive and lacking in varying relaxation activities. It is the same week in week out. They should be different to keep the person interested.
This is a great app but isn’t free you do questionnaire then at end it tells you free for 3 months then £49.99 what a woo har no thanks you can keep it

First of all I was disappointed that for this price you only get 6 sessions on the loop. I just finished the course, and my symptoms hasn’t improved at all, they even got worse. The only reason I’m giving it 2 starts are the readings, they helped me to understand IBS better. I understand that there’s no one size fits all with IBS treatment maybe it hasn’t worked for me because I’m meditating anyway and it didn’t have much impact?
Seems like a good beginning but in the first week I have had to problems with the app and have to contact them to get them fixed. When you have IBS you don’t need added stress to your life.
Neat idea and I’m sure it can help somewhat if done daily for longer periods of time, but it’s imho vastly overpriced, especially as the app keeps you paying forever. For the same recorded sessions over and over and over… If this would be available…
Neat idea and I’m sure it can help somewhat if done daily for longer periods of time, but it’s imho vastly overpriced, especially as the app keeps you paying forever. For the same recorded sessions over and over and over… If this would be available as a one-time purchase at an appropriate price, I might get it. But this model does not work for me.
Firstly, I was a little disappointed at how the trial system worked. It seems formatted so that in order to complete the course, you end up paying for an extra two weeks after it’s done without any use from it. Supposedly there is a maintenance.…
Firstly, I was a little disappointed at how the trial system worked. It seems formatted so that in order to complete the course, you end up paying for an extra two weeks after it’s done without any use from it. Supposedly there is a maintenance. Afterward, but there is no direction on how to use this. The app is already on my phone, but I must pay full price to have access to any of the exercises. The exercises are on a group of about six different situation‘s, this is explained to be on purpose for efficacy but it sounds like it is just a short cut on content.
Also you assumed I opted in and charged my credit card I’m extremely annoyed about this please refund my money immediately. Your program did not work for me as I’d hoped it would.
While I do like the 20 minute sessions, I did not realize I was paying this much to listen to the same ones over and over. I don’t find the reading info that great. It always seems to say ‘next week we will go deeper into it’.
Admittedly this app is cheaper than seeing a hypnotherapist face to face but it’s still unreachable for those on a limited budget. It is a shame they don’t offer monthly subscriptions. It is very relaxing but sadly doesn’t do much for my symptoms.
I think there may be something to the idea & science behind this app, but honestly their ‘support’ staff just spam you and then declare job done. If you reply with questions (as they encourage) you won’t get anything back. Much more concerned about…
I think there may be something to the idea & science behind this app, but honestly their ‘support’ staff just spam you and then declare job done. If you reply with questions (as they encourage) you won’t get anything back. Much more concerned about growth and marketing than client experience. Advise waiting until another developer produces something similar, but with better client support.

The idea is brilliant. The production is perfect n professional The kinks are on the script. Repeating the unwanted symptoms while people are under a light trance doesn’t work for me nor most mental health therapists that understand the subconscious. Some of the scenarios also are loaded with triggers. Hoping the second generation of this app irons all the kinks. It is after all a great idea
