This is good content. I would say slightly above average effectiveness. But to charge $70 every three months to listen to the same six 20 minute long recordings is ludicrous. There’s no new content. I would legit pay $10/mo for this. That’s $120 a year they could get from me. But instead I will pay nothing and go elsewhere. Lol seriously tho, the price is almost offensive. Audacity on sale but not this subscription. On a side note, the price point has been all over the map too. I feel like every time I check they’re charging a different amount. Sometimes it’s way less, now it’s spiked again. Classic start-up indecision and waffling

I was using the maintenance programme which was £4 a month on a rolling subscription. All of a sudden the app blocked me out and is asking 49.99 for 3 months for the same maintenance programme. Not happy with the constant changing of prices. It’s not worth that much money

When I tried the sample trial week, I thought I was accessing a sample of the meditations and readings offered through the app. But no - it turns out that’s basically all there is. The readings are short and not very informative. The meditations are fine, but hearing the same ones week after week does not increase their helpfulness. And worst of all, $149 is an absurdly high price to pay for something that has not made that much of a difference in my life. I don’t often regret spending money on things but this $149 remains some of the most regrettable money I have spent.

I’ve used hypnosis in-person many times and always find it very helpful. Unfortunately I didn’t get on well with this app and I think it has a lot to do with the choice of hypnotherapist and their voice. We are have different preferences and to only have a choice of one voice is limiting. I was recommended this app by my dietitian but would next time choose my own therapist. I was also very disappointed that the app auto renewed at the end of the 3 month subscription without any notice that it’d be happening or giving me a chance to cancel. I’ve now cancelled the auto subscription so I’d like to make others aware of this in case they too find this app unhelpful.

The hyperslow reading of the repetitive hypnosis is driving me nuts. The middle part after the enforced relaxation has some good guided meditations but overall this is just not for me. If the voice artist read a bit faster and the meditations weren’t bookended by the slow endless repetition I’d be more receptive. Will not continue with it.

This app might be helpful for people with a new diagnosis. Unfortunately, I’ve struggled with IBS for a few years but have done a lot Of my own research so there’s nothing new for me. It’s a simplified summary of info I already know plus mindfulness. Not useful for me sadly.

I’ve had some improvement of my symptoms. Overall I’ve found App disappointing. It’s a premium priced App (UAD $ 95 for only 3 months) that has an opaque system for costs. It has a hippy dippy, over the top vibe about it. Questions are answered with platitudes. I found a much better App with a low once-only cost and just as effective. I can’t recommend it.

I purchased the app and tried to cancel my subscription before the support portion got charged and the app does not show up In the App Store subscription so there is no way to cancel. Why is that? I sent an email to the owner of the app asking for it to be cancelled. Have not heard back. Hopefully they’ll cancel it for me since you can’t do it through your app or iPhone settings. If it is a glitch on your end fix it. It’s not cool. And the app did not work for me.

Bought a “lifetime subscription” and after I completed the 6 week plan, started to be charged a 4.95 “monthly maintenance fee”? Very deceiving. I honestly think it did have some benefit and would’ve loved to stick with it, but the deceptive practices just completely soured my experience. I’d recommend being upfront about this to future subscribers.

Had issues with the app. I have a iphone 11 and had to power my phone off each time in order to force the app to update and offer me the current day’s program. Also had issues with the audio- recording would skip ahead in 6 second increments. Reported issues- received no response. For $69 the app should be more stable.

...after the fourth day of the free trial, I realised I was feeling worse not better. So I stopped, since I didn't want to keep getting worse. I bumped up the rating from one star to two, because it certainly is an interesting approach and evidently works for some though not for me. Not sure a paid smartphone app is the safest way to try it out, considering what's at stake for the purchaser. Response to developer: Yes four days may be too short a trial, but I suspect not many people are going to pay down £50 on the off-chance that the app will stop making them feel worse and make them feel better. So I suspect that delivering the therapy through a high-priced app means that only those who feel better during the free trial are likely to continue. Regarding the studies you mention: I would be interested to read them. Can you respond here, giving the authors/titles? As others may also be interested in looking the studies up (using a search engine). Thanks.

As described in title. Tired the whole thing and I realize it’s not for everyone I really though it was helping but it just stopped improving and then stopped doing anything 😥I have to reach out to apple as it’s billing me but not through the app despite saying it is. Honestly it’s really overpriced, I will go back free hypnose and meditation videos and meditations tracks. There was some good education so probably would have rated it 3 or 4, but the hassle of cancellation... 😠

This may help people with regular IBS but I have SIBO and as far as I can tell, it hasn’t made a difference. But then I’ve also been told that I can’t be hypnotized. I get tired of the excessive repetition and think if I was really hypnotized I would not be bothered by that. Too bad. I had hopes. SIBO is hard to cure.

I have struggled with IBS symptoms for over 12 years. I have tried therapy, medication, yoga, meditation, every test the doctor can provide, etc. I’ve tried so many treatments with minimal relief, therefore when I came across an ad for Nerva, I knew I didn’t have much to lose and decided to give it a try. I completed the first session of the program and was excited about the hypnotherapy I had undergone, however, the excitement faded as I continued to experience discomfort, even during my sessions. I decided to purchase and complete the program to see if time and repetition would change anything. The app seemed to have good reviews and suggest that a wealth of info was included so I decided the price was worth it, especially if it worked. Unfortunately, the only thing that changed throughout the program was the amount of energy I had after each session. Although I did learn better breathing and relaxation techniques, my symptoms did not subside or decrease in any way. Most of the information provided was info that I had already read over and over online. This may work for some people, but even being a very receptive and open individual, desperate for relief, I did not find this approach to be of any real benefit.

The app is ridiculously expensive, and it being Christmas-time, I didn’t have that money to spend. I unsubscribed from the app and deleted it from my phone but I still got charged about $90. That’s way too much money for an app and I feel like they made it very unclear how to properly cancel the free trial.
