IBS often affects more than the gut. Tight or uncoordinated pelvic floor muscles can add to constipation, straining, urgency, bloating, and pain. At Sakura Pelvic Health in St. Paul, I work one-on-one with you to assess how your pelvic floor, breathing, and abdominal muscles work together. Treatment may include biofeedback, relaxation and coordination training, toileting strategies, manual therapy, and nervous system calming techniques that pair well with gut-directed work.
